Acceptance of Islam by Hazrat Hussain
The famous Sahabi was the father of Hazrat Imran and the Quraysh respected him greatly. Once the Quraysh came to him and said to him: “You should go and talk to this man (the Prophet) on our behalf because he is serving our Gods.” So the Quraysh went with Hazrat Hussain and sat near the door of the Holy Prophet. Hadrat Hussain, who had already gathered in the service of Hazrat Ali, said: What is happening that we are receiving words from you that you or our Gods are bad-mouthed, although your
Father was a very careful and good man. On this, the Holy Prophet or Allah said: O Hussain, Ameer’s father, and your father are both in hell, O Hussain! So tell me how many gods do you worship? Hazrat Hussain said: “My seven Gods are on earth and one God is in heaven. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: When something harms you, which God do you call upon?” Hazrat Hussain said: “To God in the sky, he said: “When wealth is destroyed, whom do you call? Hazrat Hussain said: “The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to the One in Heaven: It is a strange thing that he is the only one who cries out to you when you call and you associate with him and the gods. Do you have the pleasure and permission of the One in Heaven?” Do you associate with these gods or fear these gods that if you don’t share them, they will prevail over you? Hazrat Hussain said: None of these two things, Hazrat Hussain says that at that time I found out that till today I have not spoken to a great person like him, Hazrat Piya said: “O Hussain! Become a Muslim.” Peace be upon you, Hazrat Hussain said: “My people and my family are my people. If I convert to Islam, I am in danger from them, so now
what should I say He ﷺ said: “Recite this dua:
“اللهم استهديك لأرشد أمرى وزدني علما ينفعني”
God! I would like more guidance and guidance in my case from you
I seek guidance and grants me more beneficial knowledge.
So Hazrat Hussain recited this dua and became a Muslim before getting up in the same assembly. Seeing this, his son Hazrat Imran stood up and kissed the head, hands, and feet of his father Hazrat Hussain. When he saw this scene, tears came to his eyes and he said: “I cried because of Imran’s attitude. When his father Hussain came in, he was a disbeliever. At that time, Imran did not stand up for him, nor did he stand up for him.” But when they became Muslims, they immediately paid their dues, because of this, I felt sorry for them. When Hazrat Hussain went out, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to his companions: Get up and escort them to their house. Come, as soon as Hazrat Hussain came out of the door, the Quraysh said: “Here you are.”
He became unfaithful and all the Quraysh left him and scattered here and there.
Acceptance of Islam by Hazrat Mu’awiyah Bin Haidah
Hazrat Mu’awiya bin Huida states that I – I came to the service of the Holy Prophet and said: O Messenger of Allah, I did not come to the service of you until now because I have counted the number of the palms of my hands. had sworn more than once that I will never come to you nor will I accept the religion of Allah, and Hazrat Muawiya said this while placing both hands on each other and pointing to the number of people, but Now Allah has brought me to you, so I have come to serve him and my condition is that I have a little knowledge. What has been sent to us? Hazrat Mu’awiyah asked: What is the religion of Islam? The Prophet (PBUH) said: The religion of Islam is that you should say: I have made myself the bearer of Allah and I have separated myself from all other than Allah, and establish prayer and pay Zakat, every Muslim to every other Muslim. For it is respectable, both Muslims are brothers and help each other and when a polytheist man becomes a Muslim, now after Islam, Allah will accept his actions when he separates from the polytheists (i.e. by migrating). What was the need for me to hold your back and save you people from the fire of hell, but listen!
The point is that my Lord will call me and ask me if you have conveyed my religion to my servants, and then I will be able to say: O my Lord! Yes, I delivered, listen carefully! Those of you who are present here should convey my religion to those who are absent. Listen carefully! You will be called before Allah on the Day of Resurrection with your mouths closed (i.e. you will not be able to speak) and first of all every man’s thigh will spread out and report his deeds, Hazrat Muawiya. He says: I said: O Messenger of Allah, is this our religion? He said: Yes, this is your religion, wherever you live, you will follow it well
It will be enough for you.
